In a candid interview with Men’s Health, 50 Cent, the renowned rapper, made no secret of his admiration for actress Helen Mirren, confessing that he has a bit of a crush on her. The 48-year-old artist couldn’t stop raving about the 78-year-old legendary beauty, stating, “She’s sexy. She’ll look at you and you go ‘Oh st*t.’ I don’t care how old she gets.” Known for his straightforwardness, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, didn’t hesitate to emphasize his attraction to the Caligula actress, adding, “I don’t give a fk what nobody says. She’s sexy.”
For the rapper, it’s not just Helen Mirren’s looks that captivate him; it’s her confidence and timeless allure that truly make her irresistible. He recalled the first time he met her at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in 2017, where he was instantly drawn to her poise and self-assurance. He declared, “It’s her confidence – it’s everything she is for all of these years. She’s gonna be sexy forever.” Even her husband, director Taylor Hackford, is well aware of her enduring allure, according to 50 Cent, who humorously mentioned how Hackford acknowledges the attention Mirren receives.
This isn’t the first time the Many Men rapper has sung the praises of the English actress. During an appearance on Conan O’Brien’s TBS talk show in 2018, he shared a memorable encounter with Mirren in the south of France, where he was struck by her captivating gaze and confidence. Conan playfully prodded 50 Cent, asking if he would pursue Mirren if Hackford were not in the picture, to which the rapper respectfully declined, expressing that he wouldn’t make a move while Hackford is still around.
Helen Mirren and Taylor Hackford’s love story began on the set of the 1985 film White Nights, and they tied the knot in 1997. 50 Cent, on the other hand, has been celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin, with his Final Lap Tour, performing in various locations across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
