The Montgomery Police Department announced that four individuals are now sought in connection with the violent altercation that unfolded at Riverfront Park. The melee, which gained widespread attention due to its racially charged nature, saw several participants detained on the spot at the scene. However, as clarified by authorities, none of those detained were formally arrested at the time. The incident began when a group allegedly attacked a security guard and dock worker who had approached them regarding their boat’s placement. This initial confrontation escalated rapidly, resulting in a chaotic and brutal confrontation involving multiple individuals.
