Jhené Aiko and Big Sean Seek Legal Protection Against Intruder at Their Pacific Palisades Home

Published:

Singer Jhené Aiko and her partner Big Sean are taking legal action to protect their family after an alleged intrusion at their Pacific Palisades residence. Aiko, 35, filed for a temporary restraining order against a man named Ian Craig Lees, 29, whom she claims unlawfully accessed her property and posed a threat to her safety. The court documents, obtained by TMZ, detail Aiko’s concerns and her efforts to ensure the safety of her loved ones.

Aiko reportedly fears for her life due to Lees’ repeated attempts to make contact with her. The situation escalated when Lees allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with residential security in Aiko’s neighborhood. Notably, the mother-of-two sought protection not only for herself but also for her partner, Big Sean, their son Noah Hasani, nine months old, and her 14-year-old daughter Namiko Love from a previous relationship.

Despite Aiko’s request for a temporary restraining order that would have mandated Lees to stay at least 100 yards away from her and her family, a judge denied the application. The legal proceedings will continue, with a court hearing scheduled for September 14.

Jhené Aiko and Big Sean welcomed their first child together in November. The birth announcement was made by Big Sean on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt message expressing their joy and gratitude. The couple had previously revealed their child’s gender during a joint performance in Los Angeles, an event that stirred excitement among their fans.

Their journey to parenthood hasn’t been without challenges. In 2020, Big Sean’s song “Deep Reverence” hinted at the loss of a child, which led to speculation about a miscarriage the couple might have experienced. While not explicitly naming Jhené in the lyrics, the song conveyed a sense of loss and sorrow.

Aiko and Big Sean’s relationship has weathered ups and downs over the years. They began dating in 2016, went through a period of separation in 2018, and reconciled publicly in 2020. Their enduring bond and commitment to each other have been evident through their journey as a couple, and now as parents.

As the legal process unfolds, Jhené Aiko and Big Sean’s primary focus remains on the safety and well-being of their family. The incident serves as a reminder of the challenges that public figures face in maintaining personal security while navigating the demands of their careers and personal lives.
