Miami Dolphins’ Xavien Howard Faces Lawsuit Alleging Distribution of Secret Sex Videos

Published:

Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard is grappling with a lawsuit that claims he created and shared secret sex videos in an intentional and malicious manner. The lawsuit, filed in May, alleges that the 30-year-old NFL player engaged in disturbing behavior that surpassed the boundaries of decency, causing emotional distress and reputational damage to the anonymous accuser. The suit contends that Howard captured explicit photos and videos of sexual encounters with a former partner, subsequently disseminating them to other women to incite anger.

The plaintiff asserts that the non-consensual videos and images were shared with the intention of embarrassing, harassing, and manipulating her. She received explicit materials featuring Howard engaging in hardcore sexual activity with various women, leading to immense distress. The lawsuit details the profound mental and emotional suffering experienced by the accuser, including mental anguish and humiliation, as a direct result of Howard’s alleged actions.

The legal complaint further highlights a cease and desist letter sent to Howard in October 2022, which did not deter his purported conduct. The lawsuit underscores that his repeated and patterned behavior exhibited a reckless disregard for the safety and rights of the woman involved. The accuser seeks compensation for the extensive harm inflicted upon her and emphasizes the need for accountability.

Xavien Howard, hailing from Houston, made his mark in college football at Baylor before being drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft. Last year, he secured a lucrative five-year contract, reportedly averaging around $17.86 million per year. This recent legal entanglement follows a previous lawsuit in which a woman alleged Howard knowingly transmitted genital herpes to her. However, that lawsuit was eventually dropped, and Howard’s lawyer vehemently denied the claims, labeling them as fabricated attempts at extortion.

As Xavien Howard navigates this lawsuit, the allegations cast a shadow over his professional and personal reputation. The legal proceedings shed light on the pervasive issue of non-consensual distribution of intimate content and emphasize the need for accountability in such cases.
