Sauce Walka Involved in High-Speed Chase Leading to Arrest and Hospitalization

Published:

Houston rapper Sauce Walka found himself in a dramatic incident involving a high-speed chase that concluded with a car wreck. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that Sauce Walka, whose real name is Albert Walker Mondane, was observed running a red light on Wednesday night. When deputies attempted to pull him over, the rapper accelerated, reaching a top speed of 130 mph during a pursuit covering just over 2 miles. Unfortunately, the attempt to flee ended in a crash, and Sauce Walka had to be rushed to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

After being treated and released from the hospital, Sauce Walka was booked into the Harris County Joint Processing Center on charges of felony evading in a vehicle. He posted a $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court this Friday. Despite the incident, Sauce Walka seemed unfazed, describing the event as a “catastrophic accident” while promoting his new music.

This is not the first legal entanglement for Sauce Walka in recent times. The rapper has faced several run-ins with the law, with his crew members arrested on racketeering charges last year. In March of this year, he was apprehended in Miami on charges related to cannabis and released on $5,000 bail. Despite the ongoing legal challenges, Sauce Walka expressed gratitude to his fans for their support and promised to release a music video to show appreciation while awaiting resolution on his legal matters.
