6ix9ine Hit With $9.8 Million Reparation Order Over Champagne Bottle Incident

Published:

Controversial rapper 6ix9ine, already entangled in various legal issues, is now facing a substantial reparation order of $9.8 million for his alleged involvement in an incident from two years ago. Axios Miami reported on Tuesday that a Florida jury held the 27-year-old accountable for striking a dancer named Alexis Salaberrios in the head with a champagne bottle at the Gold Rush strip club in Miami in 2021. The rapper’s absence during the civil trial over the summer led to the significant damages awarded to the victim.

Despite his recent release on $500,000 bail related to an assault case in the Dominican Republic, 6ix9ine’s legal woes persist. The restraining order against him mandates that he stays away from the accusers, and he is required to undergo anger management classes.

Alexis Salaberrios, the alleged victim in the champagne bottle incident, claims she has not received the compensation owed by the rapper. She accuses 6ix9ine of concealing his assets and income to evade payment. In response, she has proposed seizing his earnings to fulfill the court-ordered reparations.

Following his release, 6ix9ine expressed gratitude on his Instagram Stories, thanking God, the Dominican Republic, and his supporters. The rapper, who recently faced assault charges in the Dominican Republic, emphasized the importance of promises and hinted at the beginning of the process to regain his freedom.

Despite his legal battles, 6ix9ine continues to engage with his fans and express gratitude for their support. The $9.8 million reparation order adds a significant financial burden to the rapper’s ongoing legal challenges, further complicating an already tumultuous chapter in his career.
