Music mogul Diddy is facing a wave of lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault, with some involving minors, according to Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee. At a press conference on October 1, Buzbee revealed plans to file 120 civil suits against Diddy and several others for a range of alleged offenses. He stated that over two dozen of the plaintiffs claim to have been minors at the time of the alleged assaults.
The lawyer described a pattern in the accusations, claiming that victims were often invited to parties, drugged, and then assaulted while others looked on. Buzbee noted that 25 of the plaintiffs were minors when the incidents, spanning from 1991 to the present, allegedly occurred at events such as afterparties, album releases, and Diddy’s famous All-White parties.
Buzbee further revealed that more than half of the victims had reported the assaults to police or hospitals, and stated that he had evidence such as pictures, videos, and texts to support their claims. The lawsuits will reportedly involve not only Diddy but also other prominent figures and corporate entities, including banks and hotels.
In response, Diddy’s attorney, Erica Wolff, called the accusations “false and defamatory,” asserting that Diddy looks forward to proving his innocence in court.
Buzbee stated that the suits will be filed in the next 30 days and left open the possibility of cooperating with federal authorities who are investigating Diddy for sex trafficking and racketeering.
