Former “Real Housewives” stars NeNe Leakes and Bethenny Frankel are embarking on a joint podcast limited series, bringing their insights and experiences to a new platform. The series, aptly named “BetheNeNe,” will be available on Bethenny Frankel’s podcast platform “Just B.” In this series, the former housewives will candidly discuss their personal issues, friendships, womanhood, menopause, love, and much more.
This collaboration was unveiled via Bethenny Frankel’s podcast’s Instagram account, where she shared a picture of herself alongside NeNe Leakes and revealed their exciting venture. The series promises to spill the tea on various topics, including eclectic dinners, on-and-off TV friendships, and much more.
NeNe Leakes, known for her time on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” has recently accused her former boss, Andy Cohen, and Bravo of blacklisting her and turning various networks against her after she raised concerns about racism and a toxic work environment in the entertainment industry.
Leakes also expressed admiration for Bethenny Frankel’s ability to speak out on certain issues without facing repercussions from Bravo. Frankel, in a previous statement, revealed that she was paid a mere $7,250 during her first season on the hit Bravo series, despite its success. She also highlighted the lack of residuals for reality stars, an issue she believes needs to be addressed.
In response to Frankel’s advocacy for fair compensation for reality stars, NeNe Leakes underscored the unfair treatment faced by those working in the reality TV industry, emphasizing the absence of benefits and residuals. She pointed out that there is no union for reality stars, despite the constant use of their likenesses without receiving compensation.
