A$AP Rocky is gearing up to deliver a fiery response to Drake on his highly-anticipated upcoming album ‘Don’t Be Dumb’.
During an interview on Hot 97, DJ Kast One spilled the beans on what fans can expect from Pretty Flacko on his latest project, hinting at a direct confrontation with the 6 God.
Following a listening session for ‘Don’t Be Dumb’, Kast One revealed, “I heard A$AP Rocky addressing a range of current hot topics. The intensity just keeps building.”
When asked if Rocky is still a target on Drake’s radar, Kast One replied, “Oh, he’s definitely going to solidify his place on that list after this.”
In an exciting revelation, Kast One also shared that hip-hop legend Slick Rick makes a remarkable appearance on the album.
‘Don’t Be Dumb’ is scheduled for release on August 30.
Once close collaborators, Drake and A$AP Rocky have been engaged in a war of words since Drake seemingly took a dig at Rihanna, who is currently dating Rocky, in his track “Fear of Heights”.
In response, Rocky fired back in his verse on Kid Cudi’s “WOW”, asserting his dominance in the situation.
The feud escalated with Rocky’s pointed lyrics on “Show of Hands”, where he claimed to have been involved with Drake’s ex, Sophie Brussaux.
Drake didn’t hold back either, mentioning Rocky in his diss track “Family Matters” along with other industry foes.
The tension between the two artists seems to be reaching its peak, promising an intense showdown on ‘Don’t Be Dumb’.
