Blueface, the controversial rapper, has been sentenced to serious probation time for his involvement in a shooting at a Las Vegas strip club that left a man injured. The incident occurred in 2022 when Blueface allegedly opened fire on Kentabius Traylor after he made a comment about the car Blueface was driving.
Clark County District Court judge Kathleen E. Delaney sentenced Blueface to 24 to 60 months in prison, but this sentence is suspended, meaning he will serve it as probation. As part of the probation terms, Blueface is prohibited from possessing alcohol, drugs, or weapons, including guns. He is also not allowed in the Strip and Downtown corridors of Las Vegas unless it’s work-related. Any violation of these terms could result in him serving the remainder of his sentence in prison.
Blueface pleaded guilty to one felony count of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and one misdemeanor battery charge. Attempted murder charges that were initially considered were dismissed as part of his probation.
The case originated from a dispute that reportedly began with a bad joke. According to legal documents, Blueface was at the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas in October 2022 when his alleged victim made a joke about him talking to women in a “cheap vehicle.” Blueface’s crew allegedly assaulted the man, and when he attempted to leave in his truck, Blueface allegedly fired shots at the vehicle as it fled the scene.
The shooting left bullet marks on the truck, and the man suffered a “bullet graze wound” on his left hand.
The Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club owner claimed that the establishment had to close due to the “gang-related activities” Blueface brought into the venue and called for the rapper to either spend his life in prison or financially compensate the club.
A separate civil suit related to the shooting is still pending.
