On July 29, 2023, Cardi B’s concert at Drai’s Nightclub in Las Vegas took an unexpected turn when the rapper retaliated after a woman in the crowd threw liquid at her. In response, Cardi hurled her microphone into the crowd, inadvertently striking two individuals.
The incident did not go unnoticed, as one of the women hit by the microphone reported the matter to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department the following day, alleging battery.
During the show, Cardi had invited the crowd to splash water on her to stay cool in the intense heat. However, when the unidentified woman threw something else, the rapper reacted by throwing the mic.
Videos of the incident circulated online, capturing the moment the microphone struck both the drink thrower and another woman standing nearby.
As a result of the reported battery, Cardi B is now listed as the suspect in the ongoing investigation.
