Sean “Diddy” Combs faces shocking allegations of abuse, assault, and sexual misconduct in a new lawsuit filed by former Bad Boy singer, Dawn Richard. The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, outlines a series of disturbing incidents between 2004 and 2011, when Richard was signed to Diddy’s label as part of Danity Kane and later Diddy-Dirty Money.
Richard, now 41, claims Diddy once barged into her dressing room while she was naked and groped her breasts and buttocks. She also recounts a time when the music mogul invited her to his Miami home, greeting her in nothing but his underwear. When Richard asked him to put on clothes, Diddy allegedly refused, screaming, “This is my house!”
Richard claims she endured a toxic environment under Diddy’s leadership, alleging that she was forced to rehearse for 48-hour stretches without sleep, which led to extreme physical exhaustion, dehydration, and weight loss. In another incident, Richard says Diddy locked her in a car with tinted windows for two hours as she screamed for help, eventually phoning her father for assistance. When her father threatened to call the police, Diddy reportedly responded with veiled threats about her career, saying, “Think about your daughter’s career.”
The lawsuit also claims Richard witnessed Diddy physically assault his then-girlfriend, Cassie, on multiple occasions. In one instance, he allegedly threw Cassie against a wall, choked her, and dragged her upstairs in his L.A. home while under the influence of drugs. On another occasion, Diddy is accused of throwing a scalding pan of eggs at Cassie, verbally berating her, and later punching and attempting to strangle her.
These new accusations follow a lawsuit filed by Cassie herself last November, in which she accused Diddy of physical abuse, rape, and sex trafficking, a case that was settled out of court.
The late Kim Porter, another of Diddy’s ex-partners, is also mentioned in the suit, with Richard claiming to have seen Porter leave a recording studio with injuries to her face in 2005.
