Diddy Faces Third Sexual Assault Lawsuit Amidst Denials and Accusations

Published:

A spokesperson for Sean “Diddy” Combs has vehemently denied the latest sexual assault allegations against the hip-hop mogul, calling them a “blatant money grab” and insisting that Diddy is unfairly targeted by anonymous accusers looking for financial gain. The new lawsuit, filed anonymously by a Jane Doe, accuses Diddy and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall of taking turns raping her and a friend in 1990 or 1991. This marks the third legal action against Diddy in recent weeks, adding complexity to an already contentious legal landscape.

The anonymous woman alleges that she and her friend met Diddy at a record event, where he and Hall reportedly flirted with them and bought them drinks. Subsequently, they were taken to Hall’s apartment, where the woman claims she was coerced into having sex with Diddy, resulting in severe trauma. According to the lawsuit, Hall then entered the scene, allegedly pinning her down and raping her, with her friend experiencing a similar assault. The legal documents detail a disturbing aftermath, claiming that a few days later, Diddy went to the woman’s home, assaulted and choked her in a fit of rage.

These claims come on the heels of another lawsuit filed by Cassie, which alleged rape and human trafficking. The case was settled the day after it was filed, with the details of the settlement undisclosed. In response to the second lawsuit, a representative for Diddy dismissed the allegations, stating that the 32-year-old story is “made up and not credible.” The representative argued that Mr. Combs never assaulted the accuser, and the lawsuit is characterized as a “money grab” with no basis in truth.

These legal challenges emerge against the backdrop of the Adult Survivors Act, which temporarily waived the statute of limitations on sexual misconduct claims, allowing survivors to bring civil action against their alleged assailants within a one-year period. Diddy’s spokesperson emphasizes that the act was not intended to be exploited in this manner. As Diddy faces a trifecta of sexual assault lawsuits, the complexities surrounding these allegations continue to unfold, leaving both the public and legal experts watching closely for further developments.
