Halle Berry has been directed by the court to pay a substantial sum of $8,000 per month, equating to nearly $100,000 per year, to each of her two children’s fathers, both of whom are White men, according to sources.
The Academy Award-winning actress provides the same monthly amount to both of her children’s fathers, Gabriel Autry and her second ex-husband, whose name has not been disclosed.
In this arrangement, Halle Berry is making annual payments of $200,000 to the two fathers, despite her shared custody arrangement and primary custodial role for her children.
The finalization of Halle Berry’s divorce from Olivier Martinez has brought to light the extensive child support obligations she is now subject to.
The divorce proceedings between Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez, who were married for three years before separating in 2016, took several years to conclude due to unresolved custody and child support matters. They share a 9-year-old son named Maceo.
The recent court documents reveal that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have agreed to joint legal and physical custody of their son, Maceo. These documents also outline certain requirements, including counseling sessions for Maceo. Both Halle and her daughter Nahla (from her previous relationship with Gabriel Aubry) are permitted to attend the family counseling sessions. However, Halle’s current boyfriend, Van Hunt, is not granted participation rights.
In addition to the child support payments, Halle Berry is obligated to cover Maceo’s private school tuition expenses and all costs associated with his extracurricular activities, including soccer. She is also responsible for Maceo’s comprehensive health insurance, encompassing both medical and dental care, along with any uninsured medical expenses.
This court-ordered child support arrangement highlights the financial commitments that Halle Berry will be upholding as she continues to co-parent her children with her former partners.
