Actress Tiffany Haddish is facing strict sobriety measures and random drug testing imposed by a Georgia judge following her second DUI arrest, as reported on December 11, 2023.
RadarOnline revealed that the 44-year-old comedian has been prohibited from drinking alcohol or using illegal drugs, and she is now required to undergo random drug tests. This decision comes in the wake of Haddish’s recent DUI arrest in California, where she was allegedly found asleep behind the wheel under the influence. Notably, this incident followed a similar one in Georgia in January 2022.
Prosecutors moved to modify Haddish’s bond, and the approved order stipulates that she must abstain from alcohol, drugs (including CBD products), and that any prescription drugs must be within therapeutic limits. Additionally, Haddish is obligated to submit to drug testing at any given time.
While Haddish’s trial for the Georgia case was originally scheduled to commence last week, it has been postponed due to scheduling issues with her lawyer. Simultaneously, her DUI case in California is reportedly under review by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
