I thought that was the weirdest shit in the world because that might be something that a man says to a woman.” This encounter, coupled with Diddy’s overall demeanor, made 50 Cent wary of the energy surrounding him.
Setting the record straight on their dynamic, 50 clarified that their interaction was primarily work-related, rather than a genuine friendship. Despite collaborating on tracks like “Victory 2004” and the “I Get Money” remix, their relationship was more transactional than personal. Even Jennifer Lopez had encouraged Diddy to work with 50 Cent as a songwriter initially.
