Former NFL player Antonio Brown found himself in legal trouble over the weekend, as he was arrested in Florida for allegedly failing to pay child support. Authorities apprehended the 35-year-old athlete outside his residence in Dania Beach. He was subsequently booked in a Broward County jail around midnight on Sunday, October 15, and later released on a $15,000 bond. The child support owed to Wiltrice Jackson, the mother of his 15-year-old daughter, Antanyiah, reportedly amounts to around $31,000.
Jackson recently expressed her desire for Brown to face consequences for what she perceives as his absence from their daughter’s life, stating, “Because, right now, he’s making a mockery out of the judge, out of everything because he feels like he’s untouchable.”
While she hopes for Brown to become an involved father in their daughter’s life, Jackson expressed disappointment that such support has been lacking, especially given their daughter’s athletic achievements.
This isn’t the only financial burden looming over Brown, as he faced legal consequences in September for selling a man a counterfeit Richard Mille watch for $160,000.
