The special counsel’s indictment alleges that during the meeting, which included a writer, a publisher, and two of Trump’s staff members, the former president shared classified information related to a Pentagon plan of attack on an undisclosed foreign country. Trump’s statement on the recording, where he refers to the documents as “papers “provided by the military, seemingly alludes to a secret Pentagon document outlining plans to target Iran.
