Rapper Blueface was reportedly stabbed during a boxing workout session, and law enforcement sources have revealed that the alleged attacker has been apprehended and identified. According to TMZ, 36-year-old Brandon Henry Snell was arrested and charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon following the incident. Snell voluntarily turned himself in and is currently in custody.
The altercation was captured on video, showing Blueface engaging in a physical confrontation with the assailant while a Rottweiler was present in the background. Despite the dog’s presence, it remained uninvolved in the fight. The Rottweiler, which was owned by Snell, was later taken to the police station and subsequently returned to a family member.
The incident occurred at the Kaminsky Boxing Gym in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley, where Blueface was accosted. The rapper likened the attack to a confrontation with a “boogieman.”
In an Instagram update following the incident, Blueface shared his recovery process and featured his 5-year-old son offering advice. The young boy suggested that his father consider quitting the gym, particularly after an incident involving a knife during a fistfight. The son’s concern highlights the dangerous nature of introducing weapons into such situations.
As the legal proceedings continue and the investigation unfolds, the incident serves as a reminder of the potential risks associated with public altercations and underscores the importance of safety precautions, especially in environments like gyms where physical activity is encouraged.
