Bow Wow Faces Allegations of Feature Scam as 10-Year-Old Rapper’s Father Files Lawsuit

Published:

Popular rapper Bow Wow, known by his real name Shad Moss, finds himself embroiled in controversy as he faces a lawsuit filed by the irate father of a 10-year-old aspiring rapper. The father claims that Bow Wow cheated his daughter out of a promised feature on a track after accepting payment of $3,000 via Cash App.

The lawsuit emerged approximately a month after Bow Wow received a special proclamation from the Atlanta city council during the 4th Annual Black Music Moguls Brunch, held on June 4, 2023.

According to court documents obtained by Instagram blog The Neighborhood Talk, the aspiring rapper’s father alleges that Bow Wow accepted the payment but failed to deliver the promised feature. The family seeks $15,000 in damages, including the $3,000 payment, attorney fees, and other court costs.

In response to the allegations, Bow Wow took to Twitter to vehemently deny the claims. He asserted that he does not conduct any business transactions through Cash App and that he is the victim of a scammer impersonating him. He urged caution to his followers and fans, advising them to verify the legitimacy of any transactions they make online.

Bow Wow emphasized that he conducts all official business through his management and does not engage in direct financial transactions on apps. He expressed sympathy for those who have fallen victim to such scams and clarified that this was not the first time someone had impersonated him online.

As the lawsuit unfolds, Bow Wow’s reputation hangs in the balance, and the court will be tasked with determining the truth behind the allegations. The aspiring rapper’s family seeks accountability and fair compensation for the disappointment and financial loss they claim to have suffered in the ordeal.
