Once again, Cardi B finds herself at the center of swirling baby rumors.
Fans of the chart-topping artist took to social media over the weekend to speculate about the possibility of Cardi B, 31, expecting her third child with husband Offset, 32. The rumors gained momentum after Cardi B’s appearance at the 2024 Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards, where eagle-eyed fans noted her more modest attire, a departure from her usual daring style. During her acceptance speech for the Inspiration Award, she seemed to allude to her marriage and Offset’s past indiscretions, stating,
“In this game, you not only have to dominate the charts, but your personal life also has to be flawless, or else the haters will use it against you. ‘Your husband, your husband.’ Please. I’m out here making more money than all the others you’re messing with.”
While neither Offset nor Cardi B has confirmed the pregnancy speculations, reactions to the news have been mixed. Some fans are thrilled at the idea of another addition to the family, while others express concerns about Cardi B reuniting with Offset after his history of infidelities. One individual commented on Cardi B’s Instagram,
“Cardi, you deserve better. Please walk away.” However, another supporter shared,
“Looks like a baby is on the way! [heart eyes emoji]”
Cardi B and Offset are parents to daughter Kulture, 5, and son Wave, 2. Additionally, Offset has children from previous relationships. The couple announced their split in December 2023, with Cardi B stating during an Instagram live session,
“I’ve been flying solo for a while now.”
Rumors of a reconciliation began circulating in February after the pair was spotted enjoying a Valentine’s Day outing in Miami.
