Actor Jonathan Majors, who faced domestic assault charges back in March after his then-girlfriend accused him of verbal and physical abuse during an altercation over reading his text messages, appeared in a New York courtroom today with actress Meagan Good by his side. However, the trial hit a delay as prosecutors requested additional time to prepare their case, and the motion was granted.
The new trial date has been set for September 6, providing the prosecution with the necessary time to build their case against the actor. Majors continues to maintain his innocence in the matter, and his legal team is readying to present their defense when the trial commences in September.
