In a recent courtroom testimony, Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, recounted a harrowing incident where she claims the actor struck her in a cab in March. According to Jabbari, she decided to attend a stranger’s birthday party instead of returning home to the apartment she shared with Majors after the alleged altercation. Speaking before a jury, she detailed her escape from an SUV taking them over the Manhattan Bridge, seeking refuge at a bar with strangers who came to her aid.
Jabbari described her emotional state during the incident, expressing that she didn’t want to be alone and was trying to suppress her deep sadness. Grateful for the strangers who helped her, she bought them a bottle of champagne as a thank you and joined them in dancing. Jabbari admitted to having “some shots of tequila” and began icing her finger at the bar in anticipation of waking up in pain the next morning.
The courtroom was presented with video footage of the alleged cab incident, showing Majors getting out of the car and pushing Jabbari back inside. She claims the fight erupted after she saw a text from a woman named “Cleopatra” in the cab, leading to a struggle over the phone and resulting in injuries to her finger and arm.
Jabbari alleged that Majors was trying to hurt her, describing a “heavy thud” as he attempted to take the phone back. She further claimed to have felt a hard blow across her head. However, Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, argued that Majors sustained injuries while trying to flee Jabbari, portraying him as scared as she chased him through the streets of Manhattan.
Jabbari also detailed earlier incidents of aggression, including a recording of Majors allegedly yelling at her during a previous incident when she came home tipsy. She claimed he lost his temper when she mentioned her ex’s dog. Despite her testimony, Majors’ current girlfriend, Meagan Good, has been steadfastly supporting him, standing by his side during court proceedings.
