Kanye West finds himself in an unsettling situation as reports emerge suggesting that his former personal trainer, Harley Pasternak, is allegedly “following” him in Dubai. The Daily Mail has disclosed that both West and Pasternak are currently staying at the same hotel in the city, prompting speculation about the nature of Pasternak’s unexpected presence.
While Kanye West has not yet addressed the situation publicly, insiders express serious reservations about Pasternak’s motives, deeming his sudden appearance in Dubai as “extremely suspect.” A source voiced concerns, stating, “We have grave concerns as to what this creepy operative is doing in Ye’s hotel. The timing is extremely suspect. We are very concerned indeed about his motives and intentions. This is the man who threatened to ‘drug Ye to Zombieland.’ Why has he suddenly shown up here?”.
The complex history between Kanye West and Harley Pasternak goes beyond fitness, marked by a significant event in 2016 when the rapper experienced an alleged psychotic break at Pasternak’s Hollywood home, leading to his hospitalization. Subsequently diagnosed with bipolar disorder, West has contested the diagnosis, claiming misdiagnosis.
Last year, West took to social media to leak alleged text messages from Pasternak, which included ominous statements like, “First, you and I sit down and have a loving and open conversation, but you don’t use cuss words, and everything that is discussed is based on fact, and not some crazy stuff that dumb friend of yours told you, or you saw in a tweet.” The messages also presented a disturbing ultimatum, hinting at institutionalization and medication.
Although West later deleted the posts, he attributed his hospitalization to Pasternak, asserting, “What should be obvious by now is that I was raised to stand for my truth regardless of the consequences. So I will say this again I was mentally misdiagnosed and nearly drugged out of my mind to make me a manageable well-behaved celebrity”.
Harley Pasternak further delved into West’s mental health in a recent interview with The New York Times, recounting his observations during the 2016 breakdown. Pasternak detailed instances where West wrote Bible verses on bedsheets and drew spaceships with a Sharpie. Notably, he also claimed that West packed suitcases filled with pots, pans, and Tupperware during that period, adding another layer of intrigue to the ongoing narrative surrounding the rapper’s tumultuous experiences.
