Las Vegas authorities have taken Duane “Keefe D” Davis into custody, charging him with involvement in the murder of legendary hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur. The self-confessed gang member has drawn attention for boasting about his role in Tupac’s murder through interviews and a book since 2018.
Keefe D has repeatedly claimed he was present in the car when his nephew, Orlando Anderson, opened fire on Tupac on September 7, 1996, along the Las Vegas Strip. In a recent Vlad TV interview in May, Keefe D alleged that an assassination fee of $1 million was paid by a famous hip-hop star to a gang member named Eric Von Zip. However, he did not disclose the identity of this hip-hop star.
Notably, in another recent interview, Keefe D mentioned Diddy and suggested that he needs support from the music mogul. These developments, coupled with his recent arrest, have sparked speculation on social media that Keefe D may be planning to implicate Diddy in Tupac’s m**der.
Diddy and Tupac had a public feud at the time of the rapper’s death, but there is no concrete evidence linking Diddy, a billionaire music mogul, to the shooting. Wack100, a prominent hip-hop commentator, has claimed that Diddy is “scared to death” of the potential information Keefe D might disclose to the police.
The arrest of Keefe D has reignited interest in the decades-old unsolved murder case, leaving fans and observers to wonder whether new details may emerge that shed light on Tupac’s tragic death.
