Lil Wayne Faces Legal Battle as Former Bodyguard Alleges Assault and Gun Threats

Published:

In a legal dispute unfolding, rapper Lil Wayne is now in the crosshairs of a former bodyguard who has filed a lawsuit, accusing the artist of assault and threatening him with a gun.

According to recently obtained legal documents by TMZ, Carlos Christian contends that Lil Wayne, whose real name is Weezy, not only punched him in the ear but also brandished a semiautomatic rifle, threatening to shoot him. Christian, taking the threat seriously, points to Lil Wayne’s past legal troubles, including a prison sentence related to weapons charges.

This legal drama originated in December 2021 when Christian reported to the police that Lil Wayne had pulled an assault rifle on him during a dispute at the rapper’s Hidden Hills, CA residence. The altercation allegedly escalated to physical violence, with Lil Wayne wielding an AR-15. However, sources close to Lil Wayne vehemently denied the incident, asserting that the rapper did not own a gun.

In the legal documents, the former bodyguard claims to have suffered medical expenses, lost wages, and emotional distress due to the alleged incident. Seeking both compensatory and punitive damages, Christian’s lawsuit puts Lil Wayne in the hot seat.

As this legal battle unfolds, Lil Wayne’s camp has yet to respond to inquiries about the allegations, leaving the outcome of this case uncertain.
