Rapper Blueface is under scrutiny as the Department of Children and Family Services launches an investigation following videos he posted online, showing strippers in close proximity to his young son. The controversy has raised concerns about the child’s welfare and safety.
TMZ reports that the 26-year-old musician, whose ex-girlfriend Chrisean Rock recently gave birth to their child, was visited by officials at his residence in the San Fernando Valley. This visit comes after a video shared on social media in July depicted Blueface taunting his young son, repeatedly questioning if he was ‘gay’ for not displaying interest in exotic dancers performing nearby.
Law enforcement has reportedly been called to Blueface’s residence nine times since May, with this latest incident resulting in no response from the rapper or his household.
Despite the ongoing inquiry, Blueface retains custody of his son, and it appears that no immediate changes in custody have been made. Past incidents at his residence have involved noise complaints due to loud music and noisy dogs.
Blueface, known for his hit song “Thotiana,” has faced multiple arrests and legal issues in the past, but the videos involving his son have sparked significant concern. Most of the calls to the authorities have been initiated by his neighbors due to altercations and loud parties.
The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services has refrained from providing specific details about the case involving Blueface, but they emphasized their unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of all children and youth in the county.
This development follows closely after 23-year-old Chrisean livestreamed her labor, welcoming her and Blueface’s first child together. She expressed her gratitude for the healthy arrival of their son, Chrisean Jr., just one day old.
The tumultuous relationship between the former couple has garnered attention for its volatile nature. Blueface has since reunited with his high school sweetheart, Jaidyn Alexis, with whom he shares two children, a 5-year-old son, and a daughter born in August 2022.
