Ray J has responded to Kodak Black’s threats and claims about their encounter at Donald Trump’s house. The feud ignited after Ray J commented on a video of Kodak’s slurred and erratic behavior during a Drink Champs interview, expressing concern for the rapper’s well-being. He claimed that Kodak had “no guidance and respect” during his visit to Trump’s home and urged them to help him instead of watching him self-destruct.
In response, Kodak Black unleashed a heated Instagram Live rant in which he berated Ray J and threatened to “beat his little ass.” He insisted that he didn’t need help and that Ray J’s account of the Trump incident was inaccurate.
Ray J, however, accepted Kodak’s challenge to a physical confrontation and offered to fight him on Instagram Live. He expressed the hope that this gesture would help Kodak “get his shit together.” Ray J emphasized that he would be willing to participate as long as Kodak trained for the fight, promoting a healthier lifestyle.
Moreover, Ray J claimed to have footage that supported his claims about Kodak’s behavior at Trump’s residence but mentioned the need to seek approval from Pastor Darrell Scott before releasing it. He described the footage as showing Kodak acting out but not engaging in any explicitly harmful behavior.
A video has surfaced featuring Ray J and Kodak attending a dinner at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, in March 2022. This video, however, does not capture the exact incident described by Ray J, and it’s unclear if it’s the same footage he was alluding to.
The feud between Ray J and Kodak Black traces back to Ray J’s comment on DJ Akademiks’ Instagram page. It was under a video of Kodak’s Drink Champs interview, where the rapper displayed slurred speech and erratic behavior. In his comment, Ray J expressed concern and detailed his visit with Kodak to Trump’s house. The event took place in the aftermath of Trump’s commutation of Kodak’s prison sentence.
The exchange of threats and accusations has drawn considerable attention from fans and the media. The Instagram Live rants from both parties have further fueled this feud.
