A bar brawl in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood turned dramatic as reality show personalities from “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” found themselves in handcuffs following the altercation. The incident occurred at Lucca Lounge on Pharr Road around 11:40 p.m. on a Friday night, as reported by the Atlanta Police Department.
According to law enforcement officials, a confrontation between four individuals and the bar’s security guards escalated quickly. When a police officer attempted to intervene and defuse the situation, the individuals became physically aggressive towards the officer. With the assistance of additional security guards, the officer managed to escort all four parties out of the establishment.
The origins of the altercation trace back to an earlier request from the security guard, who had previously asked the involved parties to leave the bar. Their refusal to comply with the guard’s initial request seemed to have been the catalyst for the dispute.
The incident led to the arrest of three “Love and Hip Hop” stars, including two women from the Atlanta franchise and one man associated with the Hollywood show. A fourth individual, a man, was also present, but whether he was affiliated with the franchise remains uncertain.
Erica Mena, one of the arrested stars, faces multiple charges, including a felony charge for willful obstruction of law enforcement officers through threats or violence. In addition, Mena is charged with two counts of simple battery and one count of simple battery against a law enforcement officer. The second “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” personality involved is confronted with a misdemeanor charge for obstruction of law enforcement.
The two men arrested in connection with the incident are facing charges of obstruction of law enforcement and simple battery or simple assault.
