Remembering C-Knight: Dove Shack Founder Passes Away at 52

The music industry mourns the loss of Arnez Blount, professionally known as C-Knight, a founding member of the iconic hip-hop group Dove Shack. On November 7, C-Knight was taken off life support after battling complications from diabetes. The 52-year-old rapper had been hospitalized since October 18, and his health took a severe turn when he suffered a stroke during a dialysis treatment, ultimately leading to cardiac arrest.

Dove Shack, formed in 1994, comprised three talented artists: C-Knight, Bo-Roc, and 2Scoops. C-Knight’s contributions to the group and the music landscape as a whole were immense. Bo-Roc, deeply affected by his friend’s health struggles, initially reached out to fans on Instagram, urging them to send positive energy and healing prayers for C-Knight’s recovery.

In a recent emotional statement, Bo-Roc expressed the profound impact of losing a close friend and collaborator, saying, “This is like a fcking nightmare. I swear this sht hurts different, and I don’t want to talk about sht to nobody, so please just let me be and pray for us… On my soul, I love you bro, and I already don’t know what the fck to do with you being gone”.
