Rick Ross Reignites Feud with DJ Envy Amidst Real Estate Lawsuits Controversy

Published:

The longstanding beef between Rick Ross and DJ Envy has reached new heights as the radio host faces a series of real estate lawsuits alleging fraudulent activities. Recently, Envy, along with real estate investors Cesar and Jennifer Pina, has been hit with lawsuits totaling $1.5 million by Anthony Barone and Anthony Martini, who claim they were defrauded in a non-existent apartment complex project. Moreover, Barone and Martini accuse Envy of undervaluing properties in Paterson, NJ, and engaging in questionable flipping and rental practices.

Upon hearing about the lawsuits, Rick Ross took to social media to throw a personal jab at DJ Envy. On an Instagram post, Ross taunted Envy, making a reference to the latter’s hairline and reigniting their ongoing feud.

The feud between Ross and Envy dates back to a car show altercation, but it quickly escalated when Ross dragged Envy’s family into the dispute, demanding they clean his swimming pool. Envy responded by mocking Ross’s past as a correctional officer and even impersonated him as “Officer Ricky” on The Breakfast Club.

As tensions rose, Gunplay, a former MMG rapper, joined in and criticized Envy for not supporting his daughter’s GoFundMe page during a medical emergency. The situation became heated, with Gunplay threatening physical confrontation, and Envy ultimately apologized for any unintended disrespect.

The current real estate lawsuits have added fuel to the fire, reigniting the long-standing feud between Rick Ross and DJ Envy. As the legal battles continue, it remains to be seen how this controversy will further impact their strained relationship.
