During a recent episode of “Sherri,” Sherri Shepherd revealed the details of an almost date with fellow comedian Katt Williams. In a conversation with Katt, who was discussing his “Dark Matter” comedy tour, Sherri recalled the time Katt Williams, 52, seemingly stood her up for their first date.
In a preview of an upcoming “Sherri” episode, the 56-year-old talk show host delved into her history with the stand-up comedian. According to Shepherd, she and Williams have known each other for a significant amount of time. During their conversation, she recounted a moment in their personal relationship when Williams reached out to her for a date.
The pair had initially planned to go golfing as their date activity. Shepherd explained that she borrowed golf clubs from Kym Whitley, prepared an outfit for golf, and eagerly awaited their date. She humorously stated, “You called me one day and you were like, ‘I want to take you out. I’m going to take you to play golf.’ And I borrowed golf clubs from Kym Whitley, I got an outfit to play golf, and I waited, and I waited, and I waited. I’m not saying you stood me up, but I waited and I waited. What had happened?”.
