The View co-host Sunny Hostin recently held a book signing event in Bridgehampton to promote her latest novel, “Summer on Sag Harbor: A Novel”. However, her co-hosts from the popular talk show were noticeably absent from the gathering.
Joy Behar, another co-host of The View, was the sole colleague who attended the book signing event to support Hostin. The event was captured in a montage video shared by the Stella Flame Gallery, where Sunny and Joy were seen engaging in conversations with attendees.
Joy Behar, 80, exuded her usual glamorous style, dressed in black skinny pants, a matching top, and a camel-colored blazer. In contrast, Sunny Hostin, 54, looked lovely in a multi-colored print maxi dress and accessorized with oversized sunglasses and a Gucci crossbody bag.
The absence of Hostin’s co-hosts at the book signing event is noteworthy, especially considering the recent fiery season of The View that featured several on-air clashes among panelists. Despite the drama on the show, Sunny and her co-hosts are currently enjoying a four-week hiatus from The View, which is on a summer break.
The ABC program is set to return to television screens on Tuesday, September 5. During this break, various co-hosts, including Ana Navarro, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Sunny Hostin herself, have been enjoying vacations and sharing glimpses of their travels on social media.
The hiatus has allowed the panelists to recharge and rejuvenate before the next season begins, promising more lively debates and discussions on the popular daytime talk show.
