Tekashi 6ix9ine Faces Auction of Valuable Assets to Settle $10 Million Judgment

Published:

Controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is facing the possibility of his valuable assets hitting the auction block as a means to satisfy a substantial $9.825 million judgment against him. The legal woes stem from a lawsuit filed by dancer Alexis Salaberrios, who alleges that Tekashi struck her in the head with a bottle of champagne. Despite the judgment being issued in July, Tekashi has yet to settle the amount, leading to the appointment of a receiver to take control of his assets and facilitate the sale of items such as his Rolls-Royce and Florida mansion.

Recent legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Alexis Salaberrios secured the significant judgment over two years after initially filing the lawsuit. The court’s decision to appoint a receiver empowers them to liquidate Tekashi’s assets to meet the outstanding financial obligation. Among the items potentially up for auction are the rapper’s luxurious Rolls-Royce and his Florida mansion.

The lawsuit against Tekashi arose in 2021 when Alexis accused the rapper of assaulting her at Gold Rush Cabaret in Miami. The alleged incident occurred as Tekashi attempted to retaliate against someone who had insulted him, but he inadvertently struck Alexis with the bottle. The injuries reportedly led to Alexis seeking medical attention at the emergency room, where she received several staples to close the wound.

Tekashi’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, dismissed the claims as an “attempt to shake him down.” The rapper, known for his legal troubles and public controversies, has faced numerous legal challenges throughout his career. This recent judgment adds another layer to his ongoing legal battles.

In a related development, Tekashi’s girlfriend, rapper Yailin La Más Viral, is also entangled in legal issues. She was recently arrested on a felony charge for allegedly assaulting Tekashi, as captured in a video where she repeatedly struck him with a 2×4. The rapper’s personal life continues to be entwined with legal complexities, adding further scrutiny to his public persona. As the auction of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s assets looms, it remains to be seen how this financial setback will impact the controversial artist’s future endeavors and legal standing.
