Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas, a member of the iconic group TLC, is set to become a grandmother for the first time at the age of 52. The exciting news was shared by Chilli’s son, Troy Austin, on Instagram.
In his heartfelt post, Austin, 26, announced that he and his wife, Jeong Ah Wang, are expecting their first child, a baby girl, in March 2024. The post included a charming photo of a letter board revealing the chosen name for their daughter, Luna Wang Austin, and an ultrasound image inside a box with a touching note in Korean.
The journey to this moment was filled with challenges, as Austin shared that they had been trying to conceive for a year and a half, eventually succeeding through IVF. He praised his wife’s resilience and expressed his excitement about becoming a father.
Their fertility journey involved numerous medical procedures, including HSG procedures, hysteroscopy, surgeries to remove scar tissue, and one egg retrieval, along with the emotional toll of a miscarriage.
Chilli, who has been dating Matthew Lawrence since November 2022, has not yet commented publicly on her son and daughter-in-law’s pregnancy news.
