In a recent development, Tracey Edmonds, TV producer and former fiancée of football legend Deion Sanders, clarified that she was the one who initiated the end of their 12-year relationship. Despite their initial joint statement about mutually deciding to transition into friendship, Edmonds revealed in a weekend statement that she made the decision to prioritize herself and her family.
“I want to clarify that it was my decision to end the relationship, despite any different narratives being presented. I’ve chosen to prioritize myself and my family, moving forward towards a future where I am valued, treated with honesty, and free to embrace the happiness and respect I deserve,” Edmonds shared.

TV producer Tracey Edmonds announced on Sunday night that she and Deion Sanders have decided to part ways after 12 years together. Edmonds expressed gratitude for the support they’ve received and shared that the decision to transition into a friendship was made with love, respect, and appreciation for the time they spent together.
The former couple first crossed paths in 2012 during a movie premiere party for a film produced by Edmonds. They began dating a few months later and got engaged in 2019. Despite the breakup, their parting seems amicable, with Sanders expressing his appreciation for Edmonds in a heartfelt response to her announcement.
“Love u Tracey and You’ve been a true blessing to me. I appreciate the times we’ve shared and the laughs we’ve had. You are an amazing woman and a tremendous mother. God bless u with every endeavor and every step u take. You are HER. Tracey-Mack !!!” Sanders commented.
Edmonds, who shares two boys with her ex-husband, musical legend Babyface, and Sanders, a two-time Super Bowl champion, with children from previous marriages, have chosen to move forward with respect and appreciation for the years they spent together.
