Wale’s Team Refutes Claims of Diddy Balcony Incident Over Cassie Collaboration

Published:

Following recent reports suggesting that Diddy held rapper Wale over a balcony due to his association with Cassie, Wale’s team vehemently denies the incident ever occurred. The allegations emerged in the wake of a lawsuit filed by Cassie against Diddy, accusing him of rape, physical abuse, and sex trafficking during their relationship.

Wale, whose real name is Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, seemingly addressed the rumors on his X account (formerly Twitter) with posts that have since been deleted. In response to a user’s comment about the impact of spreading stories without considering consequences, Wale wrote, “Wild times…” and expressed concerns about the decline of authentic journalism.

However, Wale’s management has officially refuted the balcony incident claims, calling them a “complete fabrication.” In a statement, they expressed disappointment that such unfounded rumors had gained traction. They categorically denied any assault on Wale by Diddy, stating that the rapper has never met Cassie. Dismissing the story as a fantasy created by an outsider to exploit a viral narrative for clicks, they drew a humorous reference to “The Five Heartbeats” film.

The statement emphasized that Wale has never been in the same room as the people mentioned in the allegations and was never involved in any altercation. Wale’s team expressed a desire for peace for everyone involved in the settlement between Diddy and Cassie. They also called out media outlets sharing the story, branding it as fake news, and appreciated those dedicated to factual reporting.
