Celebrity jeweler Seth Grossman has raised serious concerns over YK Osiris’ financial dealings, claiming that the singer has failed to make payment for a high-end $20,000 Audemars Piguet watch he agreed to purchase years ago.
According to Seth, his interaction with YK Osiris began through Sean Kingston, a longstanding client and associate. In early 2020, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, they met and discussed a potential deal involving the Audemars Piguet timepiece. YK Osiris, who can be seen trying on and proudly displaying the watch in a video, convinced Seth to part with the luxury accessory.
Seth admitted that he wasn’t initially familiar with YK Osiris’ music, but after verifying his stardom on YouTube, he promptly sent an invoice for the watch.
However, despite sharing all necessary details for payment, Seth claims that he has not received the $20,000 wire transfer from YK Osiris’ accountant as promised.
Initially, YK Osiris was responsive but offered excuses for the delay, according to Seth. However, the situation eventually devolved into a series of unanswered messages and phone number changes.
On several occasions, Seth confronted YK Osiris about the unpaid watch, only to be met with shifting blame. YK allegedly pointed fingers at Sean Kingston, falsely claiming that he had returned the watch to him. In another instance, YK Osiris reportedly accused his own father of taking the jewelry as compensation for managing his career.
Seth, the founder of Essential Watches and a renowned figure in the industry, is contemplating potential legal action against YK Osiris. However, he is also considering focusing his efforts on running his Beverly Hills boutique, 90210 Watches.
Despite multiple attempts to reach out to YK Osiris for his side of the story, there has been no response. It’s worth noting that YK Osiris has been seen flaunting new acquisitions, including a gold grill, which may further intensify the situation between him and Seth.
